WASH - Water and Sanitation Project

Our objective was focusing on reaching primary school teachers and parents for creating awareness on hygiene and importance of proper water usage.
Adequate drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene are all essential ingredients to ensure human health.
Awareness was created in certain areas of Mahbubnagar for improvement of water quality and sanitation. Also, street plays were performed to spread awareness.
Through this programme, our beneficiaries included 2000 families directly and 1000 families directly over a tenure of 12 months.
Our project locations included Dhule in Maharashtra and Mahbubnagar in Telangana.
Currently, VKS is collaborating with SGS for a CSR intervention project on safe drinking water provision.
